PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

Hi WIS Families!

The WIS PTO would like to welcome you to a new year at our school. For those unfamiliar with us, we are a nonprofit organization made up of parents, guardians, and administrators, who are all dedicated to our children's successful education. The WIS PTO works hard to help make the school year enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers, and parents. We are here to help students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs to promote open communication between administration, teachers, and families, and to encourage WIS school spirit and pride.

The PTO uses its resources, both manpower and monetary, to support the staff's efforts and provide learning and enrichment opportunities for our children. We are looking forward to meeting families virtually to get involved with our PTO this school year.

Everything we do is based on volunteers, and we are looking to you to help make a difference in our children's lives. We encourage you to get involved! Volunteer your time. Come to meetings. Read the minutes. Please give us your thoughts. Jump in and help. Ask questions. Donate what you can. Everyone is busy, but finding a little time to help contribute to your child's educational experience will be rewarding for you and them. We have open positions that are waiting to be filled.

Please visit our website for information on vacancies and meeting dates at westonpspto.org and join us on Thursday, October 22, for our next General PTO Meeting. PTO membership is now, so please join before October 2 to be entered automatically in our $50 Gift Card giveaway.

Best,

Monica Stromwall
WIS PTO President

EMERGENCY/COMMUNICATION INFORMATION:

Please look for an email from the PTO that lists the Room Parents and their email addresses.
Room Parents are the communication link between the PTO, the teacher, and the classroom parents. The school does not provide the Room Parents with emails for student's parents. The information you provide will only be used for emergencies and class communication and not for solicitation purposes.  This method of collecting information is replacing how it is traditionally done at Back to School Night.

Please email your class Room Parent with the following information: Child's name, Parents names, Mobile phone numbers, Home address, Email addresses, Consent to distribute contact information to the class (Yes or No), Consent to take pictures of the child for the yearbook (Yes or No).
