PTO & SCHOOL NEWS

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear WIS Families,

Thank you to all that have registered for the PTO. Your support is greatly appreciated. Our registration is ongoing; however, the printed Weston PTO Membership Directory deadline is today, Friday, October 9.

A very special thank you to all the Room Parents who have committed to ensuring our parent-teacher partnership succeeds in this very different year. Thank you to Mindy Fierro, Grade Coordinator, for the continued dedication to ensuring the successful execution of room parent selection, and Daniella Swetland, School Photo Chair, for her tireless efforts in capturing all our children's smiles this year. We are so lucky to have such a committed group of parents!

Enjoy the long weekend!

Monica Stromwall

WIS PTO President

JOIN THE PTO!

Membership for the PTO is NOW OPEN.  You can sign up for membership, purchase extra directories, and make a tax deductible donation to the PTOs. CLICK HERE--PTO Membership to sign up for membership. The payment link will be visible once your information is entered.

We had some issues with the database, so please make sure that your child’s school and grade are correct:

  • UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION FIRST
  • MAKE SURE your child(ren)’s SCHOOL and GRADE are CORRECT!! (alumni year is the high school graduation year)
  • UPDATE:  FAMILY INFORMATION before purchasing membership
  • REACTIVATE EACH CHILD before purchasing membership

And remember, once our membership drive is complete, the WhIStle will only be sent to current paid-up  HES PTO members - so if you want to continue to receive the latest news and updates throughout the school year, sign up now!

SCHOOL PHOTOS

School photos were a success. When the makeup day is announced I will update here. To those who didn’t order photos already, you will wait until you get the proof and then you can order. You can just order the digital image or order prints or a combination.

For those of you who opted out of “in school“ photos, you will be able to contribute/submit them. I’m still finding out all the particulars of photo requirements. You will be able to take your own photo and submit (this will be for the yearbook). Keep posted here for new updated details next week.

Thank you,
Daniella Swetland
