PTO & SCHOOL NEWS

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Hello WIS Families,

Hard to believe this is our final newsletter before the winter holiday. I’m sure we are all ready for a well deserved break.

Just last week we announced that we would be showing our support and continued appreciation for our teachers and staff with a special New Year’s lunch. Thank you to those who very quickly donated. Each and every donation is greatly appreciated and no donation is too small. For those who would like to contribute, you can find the link below in the newsletter.

A special thank you to all our room parents who are constantly working to keep classes connected and involved even with the hurdles of remote learning. Thank you for finding fun ways to engage, involve and have some fun.

Have a wonderful, safe and relaxing holiday!
See you back in 2021!!

HOLIDAY DRIVE

Donate now through December 21st!

The annual PTO Holiday Drive has begun! We are partnering with Weston Social Services and the Weston Food Pantry to provide a bountiful Holiday celebration for the Weston families and senior citizens in need.  This year may look different than in years past, but we intend for it to be just as impactful.  We plan to provide Grocery and Holiday gift cards to Weston Social Services for each member of every family they serve.  We also plan to stock the Weston Food Pantry with items that they typically do not have and that are not covered under the SNAP program.

There are 3 ways to donate:

·      Amazon Wish List:  Purchase items from the Amazon Wish List

·       Venmo:  @Weston-Foodpantry, please type in the note section "Social Services December Holiday Program "

·       Check:  Made out to: "Weston Social Services Fund" and mail to: Weston Social Services, PO Box 1007, Weston, CT 06883

Donors will receive a confirmation tax letter for any donation made to The Weston Food Pantry or The Weston Social Services Fund.

Let's make this project a huge success!

Any questions, please email Jennifer Bernheim at jbernheim@onpurposepr.com.
