PTO & SCHOOL NEWS

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Hello WIS Families,

Happy Friday! Hopefully you are all enjoying the gorgeous snow again.

Our Nominating Committee is presently preparing  for next year by working on the new proposed slate.  We will be keeping the nominating form open so please  take a moment to see how you and your skill set can best help and support the PTO. I can tell you first hand it’s definitely a very rewarding experience.  If finance is your field, we are specifically looking for YOU, as we are looking for a Treasurer who will feel comfortable in that role.  If that’s YOU, please nominate yourself!!

Please mark your calendars for our our special joint school speaker event on February 23rd on Diversity and Inclusion.  We should all be interested in fostering those ideals for our school community and town. So I hope we can show our joint forces in a strong turn out from WIS.

Our General Meeting will follow on the 24th at 9:45 AM  where Mrs. Falber will be joining us for a dedicated Q & A session. Please show your support for our school by joining and collaborating to propose questions.  Do you have any concerns? Or do you have something  on your mind? Please contribute your question(s) ahead of time with the link below. As always, we hope to see you there!

Stay tuned:  In March we will be offering a Camp Meeting for those of you planning for sun, summer and fun.

We are still fundraising for our Teacher/Staff Luncheon.  As always any contribution is greatly appreciated.

We also have updated our WIS PTO homepage and ask you all to check it out.

If you have any concerns, questions or suggestions we ask you use the link on our homepage.

Thank you!

Have a wonderful weekend,

2021-22 WIS PTO BOARD - STILL TIME TO SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION

DEADLINE EXTENDED

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in joining the Executive or General Board next year!

The mission of WIS PTO is to enhance the educational and social experience of the students and families Weston Intermediate School. We achieve this by coordinating, and contributing both money and manpower to, a variety of events, programs, social initiatives, clubs, and more.

WIS PTO is an all-volunteer organization and we simply cannot continue our mission without volunteers. We need YOU!

We welcome new and returning members - it is a great way to meet other parents, and is also a way for friends to work together and for you to get more involved in your child's school environment.

There are various board positions you can cover depending on your skills and the time you want to dedicate to the volunteer.

If you have any questions regarding any of the positions, or any part of the process, please contact me at jbernheim@onpurposepr.com.

And please go ahead and fill out the nomination form HERE if you know which position you would like - or if you know of someone else who would be fantastic!

Thank you!

Jennifer Bernheim
WIS PTO Nominating Chair

STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON - NEXT WEEK

We all know just how hard our wonderful teachers and staff have been working during this challenging year to keep our children learning and engaged.

The WIS PTO has decided to make sure they feel the parents' appreciation for all they do by treating them to a catered lunch but we can't do it without your help. Please consider making a monetary donation to contribute towards the cost.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks as always for your support!
