PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear WHS parents,

I hope your students first week back at school every day has gone well.    As our teachers and staff and many in our community also get fully vaccinated, we should be able to move more towards in person, masked and less distanced, gatherings.

There is so much work being done at the state and local levels to manage the health, safety, & well being of our students and families.  It was great to have our quarantine period reduced to 10 days.

Principal Wolak’s promotion to Superintendent is sad news for our WHS family, but great news for the WPS district. The plans for the search for a new WHS principal will be shared soon.

There are lots of great updates from our board following in the newsletter as well as some informative community opportunities coming up this month.

Thank you to all who email and call with ideas and questions.  We are all happy to speak with you and advocate for our students and staff.

Looking forward to “seeing” you all at our next general meeting on April 9th at 9 am (details below).

 Best,

Janet Hoffman

WHS PTO President
