PTO & SCHOOL NEWS

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear WIS Families,

It is my pleasure to inform you of a few new additions to the WIS PTO Executive and General Boards. The Executive Board welcomes Chris Bryant as Treasurer and Staci Dunbar as BOE Representative. The General Board welcomes Shari Day as Memorial Day Fair Co-Chair and Susan Valentino-Hersey as Book Fair Chair. We are so excited to have them join the PTO Boards. We still have a need for a Yearbook Chair, Odyssey of the Mind Chair, and additional Memorial Day Fair Chairs (1-2 more) please let me know if you are interested in joining our amazing team of volunteers.

I hope you were able to zoom in to Back to School night. In case you missed Thursday evening’s back to school live zoom meetings, recordings will be available on the school website - including messages from Mrs. Falber and Mrs. Wilhelm, the specials teachers and I believe the homeroom teachers.

I encourage you to join the WIS PTO so you’ll continue to receive The WhIStle email newsletter, be included in the printed and online directory and hear the latest about what is going on at Weston Intermediate School.

Thank you for your continued support of the WIS PTO.

Best Regards
Debbie Carrothers
WIS PTO President 2021-2022

YEARBOOK UPDATE

If you ordered a yearbook they will be arriving next week. Since volunteers can’t go into school the yearbooks are being delivered to the Weston Public Library. After they are sorted, they will be ready for pickup.

Pickup is scheduled: September 16th (Conference Room A) and the 17th (Conference Room C).

Stay tuned to your Class Facebook Pages for more info. Please let me know if you are available to help sort the Yearbooks.

I also will have about ten books for purchase. Contact me if you would like to purchase one.

Thank you,

NEEDED: YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION FOR WIS ROOM PARENTS

Please be on the look out for an email coming from school asking you to fill out an online form with your contact information.  This form is the sole vehicle by which Room Parents gather parent/caregiver contact information. Without this information your Room Parents will have no way of keeping you informed of important information. In addition to filling out the form, we ask that you do so in a timely manner so Room Parents can start their outreach to you. Thank you in advance.
