PTO & SCHOOL NEWS

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

As we enter the month of November, I would like to encourage you to focus on gratitude from now until the end of the year. As parents and caretakers, we tend to get stressed out during this time of year. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, kids’ activities and so much more can lead to extra stress. Focusing on the positive aspects of our lives, being appreciative all of the small things and big things alike and taking time for ourselves will help keep us focused on the meaning of Thanksgiving.

We had a successful October!! The WIS PTO just wrapped up a hugely successful Book Fair last week. Thank you to all of the families who came out to shop Thursday afternoon.  Susan and Loren knocked it out of the park!

Coming up in November, Jennifer Bernheim has done a great job organizing our 2nd annual Chalk the Walk on November 14th from 10-2. Michelle Mecca has organized Re-take Photo day is November 18th. I am so excited to let you know that Sarah Gargiulo is our new Yearbook Chair for 2021-2022!! She has hit the ground running and needs your help! Send in your first day of school, halloween, friends and all school photos that you would like included in the yearbook. Be sure to note what grade, names and activity when you submit the photos.

I am so thankful for all of the amazing volunteers who are working so hard on PTO programming to help our teachers and students.

Best,

Debbie Carrothers

WIS PTO President 2021-2022
