PTO & SCHOOL NEWS

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

I hope everyone has been enjoying this amazing weather and spending as much time outside as possible to enjoy every last minute of fall.

This week, our students observed Veteran’s Day in school with a school assembly. The students wrote poems about Veteran’s Day, they are wore red, white and blue to school, and did other projects in school to learn the meaning behind Veteran’s Day. My kids have been coming home singing American the Beautiful, The Star Bangled Banner, Yankee Doodle and This Land is Your Land. I have finally found a good use for YouTube!!

Veteran’s Day isn’t just about singing songs and doing fun projects at school, but also honoring our military veterans for their service and sacrifice that the they and their families have made to provide Americans with the freedoms that we enjoy on a daily basis. I would like to thank all of our teachers, staff and Weston families who have served in our military.

Have a wonderful weekend!
