PTO & SCHOOL NEWS

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

The WIS PTO has been so fortunate to have had a strong team of committed parents and caregivers on our Executive Board and General Board for the 2021-2022 school year. Many of our volunteers are moving up to WMS with their children or are at the end of their 2 term limit. Mindy FIerro, the WIS PTO Vice President will be leading our nominating committee to select the slate of volunteers for the 2022-2023 Executive Board and General Board. The nominating committee will begin accepting nominations and self-nominations 2/15/2022. I invite you to take a look at the description of the board positions or reach out to myself or Mindy to learn more.

I hope you enjoy our snowy weekend. Whether you are ready to hit the slopes, grab the sleds or sit inside by the fire with a mug of hot chocolate, I hope you have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Here are a few fun ideas to make memories with your families:

CT Ski Areas

Fairfield County Sledding

WPAL Ice Skating at Longshore

How to make the best hot chocolate

And because during covid we all tried to make bread at home….here is a recipe for homemade marshmallows - if you make these, please share!!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!
