Dear Weston High School Parents,

Midterms are over!!!!  Congratulations to our students for completing them last week! On to Q3 and the second semester! How can that be?

We have a couple of very exciting speakers coming up this month.  First, Superintendent Wolak will be joining us on Friday to talk through the proposed WPS budget and focusing on aspects pertaining to the high school.  Then on the 11th, we will be hearing from Randi Green, WHS College and Career Counselor, to talk about the college process and answer any questions you may have. 

Superintendent Wolak is working to increase communications from the district.  See below to access her own podcasts and monthly district updates.

The district produces a monthly newsletter with overall district updates plus one by each school.  They are quick and easy to read and give you a sense of what is going on in each school.  Please take a look.  The last update was sent on January 28th.

Please consider joining the PTO board next year.  It is the BEST way to have a say in your children’s WHS experience & work with and learn from other parents who also care deeply about our schools. We have positions perfect for stay at home parents, working parents, parents with young children, & parents who want to discuss ideas with others or work alone on a computer.  I have raised 4 children through the Weston school system since kindergarten. My 4th is a junior and I am happy to answer any questions you might have. I can truly say some of my most treasured friendships and rewarding learning experiences have come from serving on the PTO.
